Today the Pro Lo Mar greenhouses and hoop houses are antiquated with asphalt surfaces and concrete pads as everything must be grown above ground as potted plants due to the high water table. Much of the infrastructure is 50 years old and therefore requires replacement. Today, that means relocating elsewhere in the community and creating needed housing on this property. 

 

The Caird Family looked across the state for a responsible developer builder to partner with. They did not have to look beyond the Goleta Valley for a model project, the Hideaway Bungalows, developed by the Chadmar Group.
